Production method | is obtained by the reaction of 1-naphthol and ethanol. Mix 1-naphthol, anhydrous ethanol and concentrated sulfuric acid, and heat and reflux for more than 10 hours. Then the ethanol is recovered, and the reactants are washed with water, alkaline, and separated out of the oil layer. The water layer is extracted with ether, the extract is combined with the oil layer, dried with anhydrous calcium chloride, recovered the ether and distilled under reduced pressure to obtain the finished product. |
